Wasn't Haywood Road named after some local dignitary? A few round that area were all built and named at the same time. I used to live on Ramsbottom Street which is one of that bunch. Garden Street is the exception because it was named after gardens.

Just goes to show you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet, even if it looks convincing.
