In the past few years, Accrington Grammar School Old Boys Association has had almost no feedback/co-operation from local senior schools when we have contacted them. We were denied a meeting with the Education Office when I requested one. We have a project under discussion which will involve youngsters 11-17yrs. Not wishing to be rebuffed again, I ask for advice on how to reach school heads/staff. Ideally I would like to find an ex-AGS lad who is a teacher locally, but realise that anyone who is willing to advise and perhaps act for us will be fine.
