There were no Jap prisoners of war up Stanhill.
Most were German, with a few Iti's thrown in for good measure.
So impressed were many, with the beauty of Oswaldtwistle, and it's people, that many decided to stay.
On a sunny day you can still see in Ossy wearing leather shorts, indulging in a little thigh slapping.
