Tell me about it
This past week we have had an earthquake, a tornado advisory (not all that bad), a tornado warning (could be real bad), and tonite we are catching the edge of Irene, winds forecast in the 60-70 km/h range. In the Maritime Provinces they are anticipating a 100-100: winds of 100 km/h and 100 mm of rain. To top it off, the storm surge at the coast could be as high as 2m!!!!!!!! What is happening to the world's weather (a tornado in eastern Russia for chrissake) brings to mind that famous observation by a French general in the Franco-Prussian War: "Nous sommes dans un pot de chambre, et nous y-serons emerdes."
