Folks over here can set up a school, but it has to meet certain standards. And the parents have to pay the shot ... we have a couple of private schools in Kingston: one is a Montesorri school and the other is ... I don't know ... something else I'm slowly getting a grasp of what goes on in education in the UK. Over here, it's way different. Education here is a provincial matter. According to the British North America Act, provinces control education and raise taxes to fund it. The Feds have very little input. The Feds, however, will transfer tax revenue to the poorer provinces in order to ensure that there is equality of education across the country. Now that you are nodding off ... I'll quit ... have a nice day, eh.
