Re: Old view down Church Street towards Peel Street
I've touched the photo up as much as possible.
On the right is a shoe shop, with a large shoe as advertisement under that is as sign "Dining Room" probably for the Commercial, one hand drawn milk float, one horse drawn milk float. The sign on the end of the building in Peel St, says Nuttall Bros. The chap in fron of the Commercial is wearing a billy cock, there are 3 gas lamps, and standards supporting the wires for the electric trams.
On the left is a sign Victoria Restaurant.
