"Positive discrimination"
Sounds a little oxy-moronic. And also, in a society which is, or claims to be, non-discriminatory, a tad redundant.
If there were obvious systemic imbalances, ok; or maybe a one-time start up grant for an organization which would then raise its own funds, maybe. But, it ain't my money, so .....
