This project has been a huge success - regardless of what this article seems to imply. It has been fantastic for the young people and has given them a real shot of having their work showcased at the opening ceremony of next year's Olympics. I have had many, many, MANY people making a point of ringing me, emailing me, even collaring me after Church, telling me how they loved it.
It was ALWAYS intended to be TEMPORARY. I had to give reassurances to the council that it would be removed when it got tatty. It had got tatty so it has been removed. This is now the biggest non-story that the Telegraph could possibly have printed.
