I look back now and part of me is glad that I went through what I did or else it wouldnt have made me the person I am today but the bigger part of me feels sad that I did things to hurt my closest.
That is what parents are for, you're right. To raise us, through the good, and the bad times. Though it's still lucky for us if they can do that for us.

Some can't, because sadly they aren't able to be there, to do it. Either emotionally, or physically.

Doesn't mean their love is any less for their child though.
