No, the driver who took us out on this trip was from Yorkshire....but he had been doing the trip for years.
Our regular driver, who had a day off that day was a local......born and bred in Old Colwyn.
He was equally knowledgeable and I enjoyed his commentaries very much(though some of the oldies said they wished he would shut up for a bit....I think they wanted to sleep
).
I like historical detail of the places I am visiting. I just wish they had taught history in this manner when I was at school...I would certainly have learned more.
