I was under the impression that we were founder members as I always believed that following Accrington FC's demise Stanley Villa took on the town name, becoming Accrington Stanley, hence continuing the old clubs traditions. This has put the cat the cat upon the pigeons though!!

Oh well at least we get to have more centenary seasons then any other club
