I "inherited" a P.C. some time back from a friend of a friend little realising that he had left a "modem hi-jack" bug on it!
The rumour was that his girl friend told him to get rid of it because of high telephone bills.

Next thing, I get a call from B.T. warning me that my bill has gone up by £90-00 in the last couple of days! (I was on 56K dial-up at the time)
They immediately put a block on all premium numbers which gave me the time to sort the bug out but I still had to pay for the calls

What shocked me the most is that I was totally unaware this was going on......... Its the only time that I was thankful to B.T.

Pixies site was not porn, nor did it contain nasty video's and there is a lesson for us all to learn here, and that is to read "terms and Conditions" no matter how boring and especially if they are placed in a position where they are not particularly noticable
