Re: Common Law

So now we bring accusations about Teflon Tony, IF true then Kenny I am with you, I'll just get my gun.
But regarding the Money issue, I can see you need some help, unfortunately for me, I studied the monetary system in the UK at college, it has been a long time, but I will try.
Once upon a time, we bartered everything, this was all and good except how do you value two chickens?
So people started with Gold and other precious metals, which were great until you were robbed, so banks were started. They would look after your Gold etc and give you a receipt for it, you could then use this receipt to exchange for goods, some one got the idea to make a book of these and before you knew it we had cheque books. With me so far?
The Government print money, in England anyway we will leave Scotland out of this, they used to have the Gold Standard, this meant that you could take your £10.00 note to the old lady of Threadneedle St and exchange it for £10 value of Gold. Of course we don't have the gold standard now so the value of money is down to trust, I trust the shopkeeper I can spend it and he trusts the bank he can bank it etc, if we lose trust then a economy collapses.
Here ends the beginners guide to the Money in the UK.

Actually, I understand you have a choice whether or not to reply to posts, but if you start a debate, don't answer any questions put to you by others, seem to get all uptight with capital letters and rant a bit when you do come on here, guess who looks stupid?
I am afraid you cannot win this debate as long as you show such contempt for the rest of us.
