The only time i ever drank Whisky (no E!) was one New Year's Eve (sorry that should read Hogmannay) in Edinburgh many moons ago. Wonderful evening -torchlit procession and Celtic fire festival, Fireworks and it was "Brass monkeys " weather - didn't get drunk but I really didn't feel the cold!
A bar-tender told me that after 3 Whiskies if you drink a glass of water you won't know the difference -still tastes like Whisky -I tried it and he was right!
