I'm not sure it's any quicker than the way I normally would go but in my defense I have to say that many years ago I was told by a farmer's wife that it was a private road which didn't lead to anywhere but farms so I never bothered to venture down it.
Without looking at a map sometimes it's hard to know what streets are called in this town with all the missing signs!
Lettie you're not quite so bad as the American woman in York one day who was saying to her husband "Honey we really gotta go look for this shop called Mark and Spencer!"
