Last thursday 29/12/2011 my parents had a break in, they live in Altham. It appears all the thieves did to break in was take a sledge hammer to the door and knock the bottom panel out (the new plastic type doors).
They mainly stole garden machinery with a value of £6000. When i talked to the police they said there was a known gang operating within the clayton area.
We missed them by a matter of minutes as the items they left outside were only slightly wet from the rain.
So please be very aware that there is a gang of thieving scum knocking about the clayton area.
I know its along shot, but if anyone is offered any Stihl equipment at very cheap prices please just double check its not stolen......It could well be!!....Thanks |
