Stanley give permission for Coley to speak with Rochdale
Accrington Stanley have this afternoon received an official request from Rochdale Football Club to speak to our manager John Coleman about the vacant manager post at Spotland.
Following communications with Rochdale Football Club, and after discussing the matter with John Coleman, the decision has been taken to allow him to speak with Rochdale.
Accrington Stanley chief executive Robert Heys commented "We will always be absolutely
fair to John and Jimmy who have given their all to our club.
It must be stressed that this is a very early point of a process and we will provide supporters with any updates should this develop."
Both John Coleman and Jimmy Bell are under contract at Accrington Stanley until the summer of 2015, and both will take charge of first team training tomorrow morning as usual.
