The Karma issue although confidential at this moment in time doesn't mean to say that it needs to stay that way. When you look back at the multitude of posts on this forum regarding karma, it seems to point to the fact that this currently confidential system is being abused. I would have no objection to somebody taking karma from anyone who is being blatantly offensive but to rob karma for tit for tat purposes because you believe that that person has taken some from you is not a reflection of their overall contribution to the forum. If people wish to donate a small sum to enable them to see who had given/taken karma. It may help to make the system fairer as the people donating may wish to take karma from those who did it to them, but at least they'll be taking it from the right folk...
