It seems to me that you have double standards.
You have made a statement, which I have highlighted in red above.
This goes against much of what you have been saying in the thread about illegal drugs.
And then you go on to say:-

I think that you are operating double standards here.
Gambling and pornography are no better that taking recreational drugs(I'm not saying that they are any worse either).....but it seems to me that you have advocated that responsible people, should be allowed to get their recreational highs in any way that they see fit.
Yet here you are, pontificating about the gambling and pornography that is available on TV.
What bit of pornography and gambling are you worried about? That because it is on TV it is accessible to children? My TV has parental lock on it....that alone would not stop a teenager from viewing such stuff as it is freely available on the internet.
This is not a personal insult to you(I am just saying it as I see it)......but I think it is time you got down from your high horse. It is clear that there isn't enough oxygen up there for you to function properly.
