Narrow slat plastic ones bend easily when you try to wipe them in situ, and as years have passed they are getting brittle.
These plastic ones have seen me through 9 years and were Glynn Webb cheapos, trimmed and fitted by me. I once was fit enough to take them down and soak them at least once a year. Now I don't have a bath to soak them in they are bothersome.

Yes plastic slat blinds can be fiddly to clean - I too found a dunk in the bath was the best way.
