No one in this thread has said this isn't a problem.

However the 'headline story' is risible.

No one knows if it's possible, or how much it would cost.

Or even if it's even legally possible to have a data base of every dog in Hyndburn's DNA profile.

The article more or less concludes it's unlikely to happen.

That, not the problem, is laughable.
