No, the mother's from Hyndburn. That's the connection. I get it now. Obvious really. I saw her outside The Regency 42 years ago, the rest of the evening is a complete blank.
But I can't work out why he is a Labour Councillor when his mum is so obviously a Conservative. She was at the party conference last year, she likes to keep a low profile.
