Not being sexist however perhaps an all male team could check the bins as they are moving them to one side or even just go back to the system of one man moving the bins?

I have never seen recycling monitors where I live.
Our bins are accessible to the general public as they walk past, so anyone could put anything in them without our knowledge.
Before the red dog bin was sited nearby, I used to get bags of poo in mine

I sometimes find empty booze bottles and cans. People are too idle to carry their rubbish home - it's better than throwing it on the lawns and in the woods I suppose.
