In Hyndburn we have a Labour M.P. who publicly states he believes in democracy, in that instance a referendum on European membership, and two weeks later votes to deny his constituents that right.
Despite there being overwhelming evidence that most people are desperate to have a say in their own futures.
The beloved party won his unswerving loyalty, in the hope it would help him climb the greasy pole to success.
The people he's supposed to represent, lost.
