OK hats off - the first 2 Oasis LP's I think are excellent but I don't think they managed to creatively live up to the promise! Yes the Knebworth gig they did, I think broke attendance records. But all in all they are more like Status Quo than the Beatles - the Beatles had so much character and each member had depth to them. Oasis are not in the same league - inspite of Noel's ego!

None of this detracts from the fact that Noel Gallagher was correct when he said Oasis were the biggest band in the world
at their peak -
at that time.
