They are bringing back the Right to Buy - another change in policy that they had before the election. They are putting up the maximum discount to £75,000! This is to generate money to build new housing so they say!
The most anyone get get discounted off their council property is 70% under new laws I think New Labour reduced it massively to about 20% but don't quote me fully on that one but it was low! Also there is a scam that some mortgage companies have - they lend you the money to buy, then give you a cash lump some to vacate the premises and they have the ownership!
