I have an interest in politics.......but I won't be voting for any of the filth that represent the three main parties(none of them are interested in the electorate or what the electorate wants, and none of them reflect my core values). The whole political system needs a radical overhaul. There is very little difference in the polices of the three main political parties.......and voting for another party is 'wasting' your vote(as effectively as not voting at all) as the smaller parties will have no influence on major issues.
What we really need is a revolution.

I agree with you to a point, but we are supposed to live in a democracy, yet less than half of the population vote. This means that less than 50% of the population decide what effects 100%. If an idiot like G.G. gets people interested enough to go out and vote then politics and politicians will truly reflect the will of the people.
Had enough voters turned out to vote we would not have a coalition government!
I would like to bet if you got a twenty pound note at the polling station then we would have far more people voting, lets get interested in politics thats all I am saying.
