They speak with forked tongue!
If you check it you'll find there will be no VAT on pasties etc. which are hot because they've just come out of the oven.
However if they've been kept warm they will attract VAT! So if you want a hot pasty unless you time it as the oven is emptied it's cold pasty or pay VAT!
What a petty, childish,sneaky change to make.
