Here in god's country things look as if they may be changing in this area. Of course, we have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
I don't know if the government will appeal ... probably will ... If they do it will have to go to the Supreme Court, which has a history of ruling in favour of individual rights. I believe that the Court would rule in favour of assisted death. Granting the right to Canadians is a recognition that they have control over this terminal aspect of their lives.
