Some of my local pictures are also in The Accrington Group on flickr...and MENMedia use these and showcase them in the newspaper.....so they aren't actually submitted to the paper, but put into a group that the paper can use.
As for the camera......I have my eye on a couple on Fleabay.....next model up to Dave's is £99....and the model above that is £120(both are bargains).......I am cogitating about it...I don't make rash decisions...i will probably decide when someone else buys them from under me.
