Re: Barry dingle kilby

who eat(ate?) all the pies - The Accy V Scunthorpe game was played on a Sunday if my memory serves me correctly?? I was there that day. You must remember we were only just out of the 4th division at that time, with Rovers playing premiership football with considerably larger home attendances. There were around 5,500 on the Scunthorpe game(Sunday as mentioned earlier) which was OVER half our usual home attendance. 11,000 at Ewood at that time would have been only slightly more, with that only being the case due to the works being carried out at Ewwod around that time!

Re: Barry dingle kilby

Do you have to use the Stanley forum for your petty arguments ? Use your own forums.

Spot on Clogger, like we care about your petty arguments about "we have more fans that go to stanley" "no, we do"
Its childish and boring, go back onto your own forum (if you even have one)

Re: Barry dingle kilby

They both miss the point anyway.

When we played Crewe we'd beaten 5 teams to get to the second round. There'd been considerable media attention and the bandwagon had been given the opportunity to build up support.

When we played Scunthorpe we'd only played one game (Altrincham in the 4th Qualifying round) and so there wasn't as much hype and interest.
