Today in Pictures, it really was a shirt sleeve day, blue skies and warm sun.
1. Sun shining through the blossoms.
2. Pussy Willows.
3. Butterflies were everywhere, usually in twos......I think they were playing "chase me" (small tortoiseshell)
4. I forget what these are........Oh yes.......forget me nots. Spot the lurking aphid.
5. Marsh Marigolds.
6. Anemones..........don't get these mixed up with enemas.
7. The lodge.
8. A very old brick wall, the faces have eroded off, notice the way the clay was folded over and then fired as a brick.
9. That gate hasn't opens in a while.
10. Butterbur on the bank of Tinker Brook, as it flows through Foxhill Bank.
I escaped ... through the car window .... still on crutches so these are through the car window so if you see bits of car, reflections on the glass and a bit blurry .. sorry but couldn't be helped ...

I really "liked" that wall -great texture. seems we've been taking some of the same shots lately - mine are less successful!

That wall is to the rear of the house that stands on its own, not sure of the name Foxhill House possibly, but the bricks look to be hand made as you can see the clay folds in the finished brick and they are slightly irregular.

I find taking flower snaps in full sunlight difficult, the colours overexpose, I find if I cast my shadow over the flower the snap exposes better, but keep that to yourself. And yes we are taking similar snaps, the seasons must be alongside one another now, well almost, the rape crop aver here is not even close to flowering.
