That's interesting post, at first view Margaret that creature looks a bit feline. This one filmed alive is more doglike...

Thing is it's got five claws, so that puts Canines out. Plus that very long tail, could well be the beast they reckon it is.

No doubt about it, that's one very strange creature - everything seems out of proportion on it.

I just came across this video and I wonder what people would make of what it says?

Looks like an African Wild Dog thats had mange, and lost all its fur.

It could have been starved and beaten (hence the demeanour) it could have escaped from a Zoo?
