There's a story in the telegraph about a rare bird in Blackburn town centre attracting visitors from afar. Nothing great about the story but at least somebody has commented
Bird spotters descend on Blackburn centre car park (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Presumably it's some sort of duck. They look different with feathers on than the ones you normally see at Christmas

If one pops its clogs can someone save the feathers? They will be good for tying trout flies with.

I'm glad the Telegraph brought this to our attention.

It's not often a pretty bird shows up in B'Burn.
