Not up to speed with the 'Ossy' goings on since I moved to safer trees in Knuzden (Tis the far reaches of Hyndburn an almost forgotten area), has work finally started on the fire station?

Well strange you should ask but I did notice today that the windows had been breezed blocked in - not exactly work on it but at least it's a little less vandal proof.

That is on land that you could knock down and build about three houses on which would all sell for around £150,000 each.

Re: ossy fire station closure

Well I'm just guessing at 3 houses, but they squish a lot of houses in small spaces these days. It was just the principle I meant - buying the land not the building.

It's quite a big plot. Could probably fit more than 3 houses on it if they tried. The question is how many could they get planning permission for.
