The two buildings (eyesores) by the Church traffic lights have just been demolished. I remember going to the Council Offices (which used to be next door) in the 1950's for an interview for my first job as a library assistant - got it, too!:)

I noticed that the other day as we were driving past. About time too they looked a right mess and not to mention unsafe.
Just the commercial to sort out now

Yep that eye sore needs to come down. I have said before that they should start demolishing at the Commercial and stop when they get to Accy Town Hall :rolleyes::D

There is no Fire Station anymore, it closed down in 2003 and is now a Tesco Express.

Take a good look at the beautiful trees on the car park opposite St. Paul's school, because I've heard that some or all of them are being chopped down to make room for more cars - and I'm blazing mad about it!
