Stackable plastic chairs/stools stored indoors sounds the cheapest replacement to me

PS-an afterthought - the teachers would have to stand up when they go outside for a fag break - not acceptable:rolleyes:

I dont think thats an option, the "outside classroom" isn't just outside the school doors, you have to walk over a little bridge and along side the stream to get to it, can't see the teachers carrying them that far

Nobody is allowed to smoke within school premises now and that includes the playground.

How long have they been there?
Its a while since I went down there but I thought they had some cut down trees as seats - or am i loosing it :D

They were burned about two years ago and replaced with the recycled ones.

Yes, the outdoor classroom isn't directly outside the school, it's within the grounds but it's along a small path, across the bridge over the stream and then a little further to walk.

That's one of the reasons why it gets attacked - because it's so far out of the way. It's a good place for teenagers to congregate in the evenings.

And they do, I walk over that way with the dogs (other side of stream) and can see em all down there
