The hole in New Lane!

The one in the road going up New Lane, by the Methodist Church, that has been getting bigger and deeper for some time now.

I've read about the problems with funding but in this an election year and with, I suggest, most local people voting on local issues will someone please tell me when is it going to be fixed. Its playing havoc with my suspension!

There isn't a Methodist Church on New Lane. (?)

I'm quite suprised to hear there's anything wrong up there.

I thought they employed a man to scatter newly mown hay and rose petals, so the sound of wheels and hooves didn't disturb the slumber of resident dignitaries.

Although holes in the road aren't I think the responsibility of H.B.C., if you contact one of your local councillors, they are usually pretty good at passing on information to the people who can get the problem fixed.

If no one reports these things they remain potentially dangerous.

Re: The hole in New Lane!

a lot of pot holes have been caused by the ice and snow we had over christmas.

if only there was some kind of gritty substance that was designed to clear roads of snow and ice that could have been used a lot of damage and cost repairing teh roads could have been avoided
