Tried to copy N0 3(unsuccessfully as usual) because I think the tall thin lady behind your relatives is Eileen Kenyon's ( now Clarke) mum, and I'd love to send her the photo.
Any advice or should I just send the link

Don't know if it's of any interest to anyone but there's a framed version of this photo in the Foals & Horses shop at the moment.

The Liberal and Conservative Clubs of Oswaldtwistle are located on Rhyddings Street. Both are still extant, although the Liberal Club is currently vacant.

The site of a Bowling Green just to the south of the war Memorial, which is now occupied by a car park, is registered in the Sites and Monuments Record. The bowling green was situated on the site between 1893 and 1911. It may have been associated with the Liberal Club that is situated close by on Rhyddings Street.

That's a great 'photo, Dave. Bit confused though, was it for sale ? Only Lancashire Lantern say not for sale, as they appear to hold copyright on it ?
