Re: Optimised for a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 on Windows XP.

I just tried a few websites on my sons PSP and there all too wide... remember people not everyone uses a PC to access the internet... So the OP is correct and anyone who supports higher res need to open there minds to other systems than there own.

Multiple monitors.. Imagine two monitors side by side.. your mouse is on the screen on the left.. when it reaches the end of the screen right hand side it then appears on the left of the other monitor. So its double the workspace and you can drag and drop windows/apps between the two...

For example you could ahve your email open in one monitor and web browser in the other... a game running in one monitor and work in another

or for the techies about... constantly updated monitoring scripts in one (I have error logs going) and work in another

you can even split up photoshop and other software that uses seperate monitors to have some bits in one and some in the other

it really is good if your used to having a lot of windows open at the same time... the mouse moves between the two monitors..... makes my kids laugh to see stuff dragged between the two monitors..
