Anyone dabbled with “wiki” I believe it’s a kinda software for forums where everyone can edit everyone else’s posts.

Re: wiki

Heard of it but thought it was used mostly by Wikipedia Encyclopidia.

Re: wiki

Used it to run blog type sites at work, what do you want to know?

Its more for sharing of data rather than forum software.

Re: wiki

I just wasn’t sure what it was. Some one pointed me to a particular forum site and said it was wiki but in actual fact it’s a phpbb forum, nothing like what I have just been reading about. I think they got it wrong.

Re: wiki

OK, I run one at work for collaboration within the team. We use it as a respository for useful info so for example we have pages for each project with useful URLS, Admin console links, general info about the project etc. Anyone can update it when stuff changes or add new stuff as it happens. I also run a Blojsom blog for cross site comms and a Jabber server for Instant Mesaging.
