Was the fancy frontage, as shown in the illustration, still like that in the forties/fifties?
Architecturally it makes more sense with that facade, than it does now. It's always looked unbalanced to me. |

I only remember it from seeing it on the front of the old Accy buses. I also remember the conductors shouting that out as a destination whilst they were at the terminal. To me it sounded like they were shouting Lord of Mischief. Which I always felt would be a good job to have. Sadly I never even made it to Master of Mischief. :D |

Remember it being demolished due to the M65, but can't be sure what year ... when did they start building the motorway ? ...:D
