Not quite the Dreaming Spires of Oxford, but it will have to do. Of which building is this an adornment?
The correct answer will net the observant puzzler a cool 10 Grand in Ackers. |
Re: Puzzle 24
is it a part of clitheroe castle
|
Re: Puzzle 24
Errrrrmm. No.
|
Re: Puzzle 24
Think I've lived away too long, and I obviously wasn't that observant when living there...poor me I'll never win any Ackers:o

Re: Puzzle 24
Take a wild guess, fibi. It's not about being right, really, it's more about having a bit of fun!:D

Re: Puzzle 24
Oakhill Park? (ducks and runs from possible flying acorns)
|
Re: Puzzle 24
Willow, do flying acorns give you the runs?
|
Re: Puzzle 24
Oh, I was wondering how long it would be before that came up again!
|
Re: Puzzle 24
Look you two I've got FWS and it's very stressy I can tell you. I've had to contend with upwards of 76 latex balloons this morning. :p
Up the back end of Oakhill Park where that bit of Hollins Lane comes to and end? |
Re: Puzzle 24
Oh I see, adding rubber to the list now. Does Busman know what he is letting himself in for ?
No, of course it isn't at the back end of Oakhill Park, it's nowhere near Oakhill Park. |
Re: Puzzle 24
Is it facing St James Church?
|
Re: Puzzle 24
St John's Baxenden.
|
Re: Puzzle 24
St John's Baxenden is late 19th century gothic revival. The building in the picture is almost a hundred years older - and isn't in Baxenden.
