Well done Gayle and to the Ossy Players. Commendable effort and worthy of striking a disk. If you do have a recording of it I would be interested in acquiring a copy.

Unfortunately, our license to perform and broadcast it does not allow us to record it for sale.

That really is a shame. Is it going to be repeated Gayle. I know someone who wanted to hear it but wasn't able to today.

Re: Accrington Pals Radio Dramatisation

It's a bit complicated.

The Oswaldtwistle Players hold the license for it to be broadcast once (today) and then repeated within the next fortnight. Unfortunately though, it's not us who decide the radio scheduling. Radio Lancs were going to rebroadcast it on Thursday but because of all the sport (we didn't think about when we first started the project) there might not be time left in their schedule.

Ossy Players agreement with Radio Lancs was that RL would then be allowed to apply for the license to broadcast it should they so wish to. They might be considering doing that for Christmas.

So, in other words - I don't know and it's not up to me. Might be worth sending an email to Radio Lancs and asking them - that might encourage them to broadcast it again.
