Art Deco for a change

I like Art Deco, When it is done well, as this is. What is it and where is it?
There's an extra coconut if you can put a date on it. (The correct date that is)

I thank-yew!

What's the betting it'll be knocked down in the next ten years and replaced with a concrete-and-glass monstrosity? Remember those beautiful art deco panels on the front of the Odeon depicting piano keys, dancing girls etc? Where are they now? Rubble, I would imagine (it's always nice to have a rant with your coconut!).

Very nicely noticed A-b. I have never looked at the detail there before.

Re: Art Deco for a change

Actually, I made a mistake here, Wynonie got the date and the location so she gets two coconuts. Sorry Wynonie.

Re: Art Deco for a change

No problem, Bob. As long as I've been awarded both my coconuts!
