Clayton history

Anybody got any photos of Mercer park or photos of the War Memorial there, my uncle Anthony is on there, he was killed at Gallipoli in 1914.

Re: Clayton history

It was a bit of a wet day but we took some photos anyway.

Please excuse the quality. I'm having visual problems tonight, not to mention sticky mouse problems which may have something to do with one of the kids being on the PC earlier.

Re: Clayton history

Thanks, WTW, We used to play in Mercer park a lot, but the park gates seem a lot smaller than I remember. But then again, I was only a little lad. The rains ok thats how I remember it.

Re: Clayton history

It's funny how things always seem bigger when you are a child. I seem to have put the same pic in twice up there, don't know what I missed out! I thought it was a sign of the times to see the skateboard thing (complete with graffiti - official and unofficial)
