the spread eagle

Hi everyone, My Grt Grt Grandfather John Duckett was the landlord of The Spread Eagle in the late 1800s. He died in Lancaster in 1897 while still the landlord.I was hoping someone might have some history or old photos of the pub..many thanks Tod

if yer talking the spread on Blackburn Rd? landlord/ landlady early 60s - late 60s was Jack n Isobel, jack died in pub one xmas late 60s, in late 70s early 80s landlady was Doreen Birtwistle, who was a top lass,
