The wonders of t'Internet

THE RECORD OFFICE, PRESTON.

Just look at what you can see is available at the Record Office. I am after plans for a certain building, so thought I would make enquiries, then I found this site... the mind boggles!

It's amazing what you can find on the internet. Apart from the wonder that is ancestry the 19th century newspaper archives stand out.

You can find all sorts from the various cotton riots through to mentions of relations.
