No he wouldn't.

He would have insisted on the correct answer which is Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.

No he wouldn't - he would have insisted on the five INHABITED continents. Anyway, the adjudicator (Chris) was feeling generous this morning and decided that I should allow it! lol

North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe=6.

Olympic flag =5 rings.

I would have sat in the leather chair and argued my point until Magnus gave in and awarded me my point. It's to do with Australasia not being counted as a continent when the modern games were founded in 1896. Although most people now count Antartica as a continent, thus making seven.

You mean you would have bullied him into submission. Read it again muppet, I said Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe

I would argue that the answer I alluded too was correct Mrs Knight. I expect you to verify the fact with the Olympic Committee and send me lots of Ackers in compensation.

When the modern Olympics were founded and the flag was designed, the 'Americas' as you call them were counted as two continents, as they still are.

Bullied Magnus? No, just made him see I was right when I know I am.:)
