It's a fine line between top and bottom, but I reckon when everyone's played the bottom 3 will all be on the same points.
Overall it's still a close run thing between us so should be an interesting run-in.....looks like Dave's out of sight.

Bad day today, own fault, self-induced headache due to over-indulging the evening before. Should know better at my age, will never touch a glass of wine ever again:D

Interesting battle developing at the top -Mancie and Rindy are fighting for top spot - Dave is doing well too this month -is the Quiz Wiz avatar the key to his success this month I wonder?;):)
If your not in top 10 your points reduce dramatically!

So, by encouraging all these new people to join in the quiz I manage to shoot myself in the foot every time i have an "off" day!:rolleyes::D

See that Dave wrote in the shout box that he changed 2 answers and got them wrong, I have stopped doing that as it's nearly always fatal, your first intuition is usually right.

I think the fact that it's always mixed Trivia now is putting pressure on the time factor, making us more prone to errors.

I cocked-up by not reading the word not in a question - it seems to make the world of difference to the answer...!
Give me the good old days when we had Literature on Saturday and Religion on Sunday.

Mancie still has to play yet and some others so i don't think it's over yet for today. I think I might catch you up today and perhaps Dave too as he's not done too well -feeling the pressure of being in the top 5 I reckon!

Rindy is pretty consistent so he should hang in there in the top 2 or 3.

As to Fish on a Friday etc. -I also begin to suffer from nostalgia. Don't know about "good old days" though - at least it's eliminated the dreaded UK trivia for me:D as embarassing at times:o

Coming in late isn't always the best tactic, my one and only win was in November when I ended on the same points and time as Mancie....I won cos I played early-doors.
PS. reckon me & you will be on the same points after today and gaining on the Darklord...!!

I'm not sure about that.

Same score/time draw.

Used to think it was first one to play wins, but not sure now.

Think it might be alphabetical, with lower case being put before a player's name which has a capital letter.

I always play after breakfast.

I never look if anyone else has played, or what their score was.

The only time playing later might help if everyone was on 9.

You might go slower, looking for any possible clues, hoping to get a ten.
